After the new PSU:

The cables are really short, it's been a real disappointment working with this PSU. Anybody got any tips for me? (No drilling please)

Need to get that top rear fan replaced ASAP, my temps went up 2-5C.

Forgot to say that the most annoying thing I experienced with this case is the power button. It always use to sink and I would have to open side panel and push it up again. Although I do miss the blue.

Cold cathodes... well (in my opinion) there is only one place in the world to buy them.

Check this place out - http://www.xoxide.com/coldcathodes.html

Cheap, reliable... they come with switches and you can even get them sound activated or have a liquid cathode (I wish the liquid ones came in green).

Also, I don't know what you're talking about with the grey behind the black.. mine looks black behind the black (lol?).

As expected... it seems we never reach absolute perfection.

Looking nice, I sense that you got your ideas from TJharlow? Your case reminds me of the Green/Black Tempest paint job he did a while back.

Hmmmm. Well, I would move your HDD cage to the very bottom... try to spread things out a bit. Without drilling (a hole is really necessary in the top left of the mobo tray ) I don't know what you can improve on really. Also, any excess cables should go behind the mobo tray instead of under the HDD cage for a cleaner look. It's a great start, though.

As for the 140mm fan... the following link is the stock fan that NZXT installs. http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=20771

Personally, I have been thinking about upgrading my 140mm fans to these. http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=24003

Again, interesting problem. Lenzo's condition (kid mashing the power button) makes sense... maybe you just got a lame duck all around. Sorry to hear about your unsatisfactory experiences.

i dont think i saw his paint job. im 16 and i cant buy paint so i told my mom to buy me some lime green paint and she came home with a granny smith apple color.

i mean when the lights in the room are on, you can see the grey through the mesh. it annoyed me mucho. i have purchased from xoxide before and i guess ill have to again? =]

Hey guys. Made a video with some of the pics I had from when I had my 9950+.

I'd appreciate if you all checked it out.

Oh I see. Well, I hardly ever turn my room light on (natural light from the window or light from my monitor is enough), plus from where I sit I can't see the front of my case.

As with Xoxide.. yeah.. they're great. I have this kit, and if you're going for the same green effect as me then that is what you'll need.

YouTube - Nzxt Tempest Case (Reassembly)

grr that makes me kinda mad. if i saw that before i probally would have gone with a different color. i wanted to be different because everyone has red/blue. i was searching for a green tempest to see if anyone has done it before i decided to pull the trigger on it and i found yours and it made me really want a cold cathode. anyways...your tempest really made me want to do this build. i already knew that i would be changing out the LEDs but when i saw yours, i got the LEDs right away.

i want to do a white/purple build(not sure what case) have you seen it done before?
