A good trick to do if your 8/4 pin wont make the run though the back, hide it under your gpu.

Just a quick idea hope it helps.

Add me to the list, I have this case. I also put my DVD drive in one of the bottom slots and put one of the fans at the top to create a slipstream of air through the top of the case.

if you look at my pics i have it tied to the back of the case. it works out pretty good

EDIT: Hey, da tick, is that board out of an HP computer? Because I just moved an HP comp into new case for my friend and I swear it's the same motherboard.

Have any of you guys seen that nasty little black paint splotch right above my pump? Its on the back panel.

it is from an HP and thats why i havent overclocked. if your friend needs more ram i have 2x1gb laying around that i would sell to him. i just bought a gigabyte p45 so there will be some new pics up soon. i also took my case apart and im in the process of getting it ready for painting. my friend gave me 2 full cans of black gloss paint so im going to use it. i repainted the green mesh and added a gloss clear coat. i like how i ran my 8 pin considering i dont have an extension. if i kept this board i would use my 4 pin but the new board im getting has an 8pin.

*********i saw the 900 and 1200 hdd mod that flips the drives around. can this be done to the tempest? i think it would be sick

i actually took my panel off and painted it with some dark grey that i already had just to hide wires better. you should paint it rainbow kiddinggg

I'm pretty excited for the NZXT case. This is my first build from the ground up for myself. I have built with scratch parts before, so I am looking forward to having a real computer. I was torn between the NZXT and the Antec 900. Both are fantastic cases. However, the NVZXT was 10 bucks cheaper, and had all the fans I needed already included. With the Antec, I would have had to purchase another $15 fan. Plus, I'm not a huge fan of the window design on the Antec. I will post pictures once I set it up and cable manage it. It will be a few days though. Im waiting for the parts to ship.

My friend has 6Gb of RAM... so I think he's good. I really hated that freakin' prison of a case that HP uses, or maybe I'm just used to the luxury of the large Tempest.

EDIT: You probably already know this... but here is the crap that HP made me deal with lol.


New paint is always nice, I can't wait to see how it turns out.

About the HDD cage mod... I don't think we can do it. Maybe if you had 90º SATA Power & Data cables it could work... I might try it next time I work on my computer.
