My question is are the fans in K62 quiet? I read in other forums some say they are loud, I have a fan controller but do not want to turn fans too low to not compromise cooling performance. Also do you think lack of side fan has big effect on cooling or not?
I am torn between K62 and CM HAF 922
With the 3 140mm fans cranked up all the way I almost can not hear them run, I have 2 S-Flex 120mm running at 1900 rpm, those are the ones I hear when cranked up but those are going to be raplaced next week with Noiseblocker fans. The K62 has great airflow and keeps my 955BE @3.7 cool @35c, so not having any side fan is a non issue really with this case. The CM Haf 922 maybe has better cooling though but you have to ask your self how much cooling do you really need and what looks better to you, I don't think you can go wrong with either case.

Do you think these temp readings are true? :

http://www.planet3dnow.de/vbulletin/...367403&garpg=7

something looks like messed up, how can K62 have highest CPU idle temps of all tested cases??

Kind of hard to read since it's not in english, the other thing is very poor cable management and a stock cooler. I know with my 955BE clocked @3.7 it runs 35c @ idle and 50c loaded, but I have some what better cable management and a good cpu cooler.

Quick question about this case..I dont like the blue LEDs in the fans so I wanted to replace them with either white or red LED fans to match my motherboard..will 120mm fans fit in place of the 140mm ones? Mostly because I cant seem to find any white LED 140mm fans..thanks

Wayn, there's no way to mount a 120mm fan on the K62, Performance PCS sells a red 140mm Lian-Li fan. Next week I'm going to change out my 140mm fans with the XIGMATEK XLF-F1453 140mm, I have them in another case and they work great!

Bummer..with those fans im worried about the orange looking funny in the case lol..but I will check out Performance PCS for that fan. I wonder if I just get some nice black fans and 2 white cold cathode tubes will I still get a nice looking rig. The color scheme I was going for is red, black, and white/grey. Thanks kev btw.

Add me to the list sir.
I noticed the air flow isn't so good. I'm hitting 70c on my Q9550 oc'ed on stock vcore. Maybe I should have my xiggy blow toward the rear than the top?
