Default Building my own case, recomendations for materials

i was thinking wood or pbc, maybe aluminum. i am making a lan party rig with a micro atx board. it will have a 4770 and 2 fans 120 or 80 depending. i have it drawn out and it looks pretty sick.

any tips for building a case (first time) and what material should i get?
