Hey guys,
__________________I've recently put together a computer for myself, and was going to put one together for my gf. She bought a strange case about 6 years ago...iCute 0302 SL ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811185001 ). I've been poking around her case to see if it's even worth keeping, but it looks like it has 8 fans, top, side, 4 in the front, two in the back (80mm it looks like). Anyone know if this case is worth keeping? I can't find much on iCute, they look to be an overseas company now. She's fond of the case, but I'm wondering how practical it is going to be to keep it. I am planning on putting a respectable build in there (looks like there's room for a mugen 2) ![]() Thanks much!

just pop it open look inside and see if you would want to put stuff in it, also measure to see what coolers fit.

Welp, there's room for a mugen 2, and the one thing that shocked me is there was 8 slots for fans. I really don't know much about airflow, and I don't mind buying a new case if need be. So if anyone has experience w/ this case...it'd be appreciated

my buddy has a icute case very similar to this, only difference is the side window design. honestly it just felt crappy. like the power button, and after a while it started to fade. fast. however a case is a case and it is very user preference oriented. personally i would never touch one again unless i was forced, but tis up to you.

Not so good for cable management? Didn't expect 4 intakes in the front like that.

The big limitation of that case would be the lack of vents in the front. Yes it can take four 80mm fans, but where will it suck air from? There looks to be a single row of small holes towards the bottom, plus I'm guessing a slot at the bottom. It will basically be air-starved.

Another issue with using 80mm fans is the noise. To get any decent flow through the case your gonna need higher rpm fans. I'd take her through newegg or directron and let her get fond of a new one.
