AMD Overclocker

I've been looking at mostly coolermaster cases to upgrade to. I like the look of the HAF 932, 922, Storm sniper and a few others. I would like to know what case would be best for cooling, meaning good fans, dust filters (great bonus) and decent space. The case needs to fit a ATX motherboard and my OCZ Vendetta II cooler (quite big, current case can't fit both VII and side fan).
So if you guys could suggest what case I should go for, the reasons why and the best price in the UK, preferably from eBuyer or OCUK. Thanks, Tom.

HAF 932, allows 4x120mm side intake for brute force cooling, but you'll have to make your own dust filters.

Fan wise compared to the 932, the 922 only has the room for 2 x 120's or another 200mm on the side panel perforation - no filters on anything except for a fine mesh in the front panel. The 922 also has a 140mm/120mm perforation right behind the drive bay in the bottom for ventilation and bottom ventilation for the power supply (both unfiltered again).
As far as clearance goes for your cooler and a side panel fan in place, I'm not sure and my case is dismantled right now... measurement from the motherboard mounting tray itself to the edge of the case is about 198mm/8in - the door has the fans recessed a bit into the door but that only adds approx 10mm/.375in more clearance.

Here is my list to consider so far:
I really need to choose the right one. It's for my AMD signature rig which I am hoping to overclock further after I re fit everything into the new case. Thanks in advance, Tom.

He won't be able to fit the side fans with a tower style cooler like his. The HAF is best if you are looking to do internal watercooling, but the best aircooling cases on the market are the Antec 902 and 1200 hands down. Keep in mind there will be a little difficulty with the side fan and your CPU cooler on the 902, but there should be no problem with the 1200.

I would say, Thermaltake Armor or Thermaltake Shark , low noise good air flow. proper.

I've owned a fair number of cases (most of the mainstream full towers).
__________________The best for air cooling is the HAF932 IF you take the crappy 200mm fan out of the door and put in 4 decent 120mm fans. Second is the Antec 1200 IF you put a 120mm fan in the door and add another 120mm fan to the back of the HDD cage. Third is the CM Storm Sniper IF you add 2 decent 120mm fans to the door mounts. See a pattern here ^ ? ![]() Stock, without adding any additional fans, the Antec 1200 is the best. (its also quite a bit more expensive than the other two though). I've also owned Lian Li cases, several other CM and Thermaltake cases. The units above are definitely the best with a few additions.

Does anyone know if the HAF's dimensions will fit my mobo, Vendetta II and side fan comfortably? Here is the link to my VII:
http://www.ocztechnology.com/product...a_2_cpu_cooler It has the lengths, widths and heights at that link. I'm sure you could also compare it to other aftermarket tower CPU coolers. Thanks. Tom.
