Default Rehousing my comp, tower too thin

I had two (very old) ATX cases when I purchased the parts to make my new computer. I figured at least one of them would accomodate it. Turned out the midi tower (is that still the name for them?) would only barely take the motherboard, and the megahalems would try to occupy the same space as the PSU.

I ended up sticking it in the full tower, but the megahalems was so tall that the side-panel could not be fitted back on over it.

I wouldn't know from the way they are advertised whether any particular case could take the hardware, and obviously I don't want to find out post-purchase. So does anyone know of a case that will take the megahalem, and the rest of the stuff in my sig spec, with head-room to spare above the heatsink? Good air-flow and roominess in general is always a bonus but I don't want to pay any more than I have to; so long as it fits a budget tower is good enough for me.

it is only $100... what are you looking for?

expensive cases are cases in the $300-400 range.

Agreed, you just spent like 1k on your rig, you're not going to find a good case for much less than the HAF...
and expensive case would be something like the lian li P80 I just bought.

I don't know if prices are the same in the US, but the cheapest towers I've seen start in at around £17 (http://www.google.co.uk/products?q=c...l=en&scoring=p). The cheapest HAF (http://www.google.co.uk/products?q=H...sa=N&start=140) is £73.50.

Trust me, those cases are all junk. you do not want to put your nice computer in a case that will cause everything to overheat and die.

spend a little extra on a decent case. you will not regret it.

btw, how much have you spent so far? keep that in mind.
