I liked my Antec 300 when I had it, it was small, cheap and it had great airflow. Not a whole lot of style, but it got the job done and it saved me money that I spend on more important components.

I have both cases...the 300 is nice since it also comes with a top fan, and the front fan holders are cool...the filters are easy to clean

the 690 looks better from the front, but the front bezel is a little hard to get off...need to be careful when putting it back on too, I broke one of my buttons (the reset...super glue fixed that)

I like that the 300 has easy to remove swing side panels, unlike the slide ones in the 690...

and the 300 is cheaper...

I agree, the 300 is a bit cramped..you need position the hard drives just right if you have longer video cards...my GTX260 interferes with the hard drive cables if it's near the top slot...had to move it down a few

hate to think what would happen in multi-card settings

I have owned both cases and cooling wise I had better temps with my 300 than my CM 690. The 690 is a little bigger and has better cable mangement.

I have an antec 300 laying around, I must recommend it. Great case, built very well, sturdy, decent amount of room to work with, and it looks awesome.

Customer service wise, I would definitely go antec (especially with RMA's).

I like the Antec 300 as it comes with "better" stock fans, better intake in the front, and cheaper (usually $39.99 at frys)

Mate. the CM 690 > antec 900. the 300 isn't even in the same league.
