I bought a junker motherboard (which is btx LOL) and it won't fit in any atx case. Not only that but now I need to figure out the f panel and nowhere on the internet has this information haha.
So I was planning on trying to run this caseless. I'm wondering what preventative measures I need to be aware of and how to ground the motherboard so it doesn't erupt into a thunderstorm, thanks.

The motherboard is already grounded through the 24 pin cable, extra grounding won't be necessary. You should watch your temps on the northbridge and you may want to point a fan to it, mine was getting quite hot without some sort of airflow.
Oh and be sure to put something anti-static underneath, cardboard or the bag in which it came, needless to say

Put it on top of the box it came in.
