Ok, I have an X-Navigator from Apevia. It's pretty old and the fan controller died leaving my fans to be on 100% power all the time, and its simply too loud for me. Here is the manual to show how the fans are installed to the controller, scroll down to the third section:
http://www.apevia.com/umanual/um-x-navigator.pdf Now, because they are all molex, there is no way for me to control the fan speed with a broken controller. And if you look at the controller on the front of the case, its shape/design makes it pretty much irreplaceable in this case unless I wanted to do something funky (and i dont). I was thinking about a Molex-> 3 pin MB adapter so I can somehow hook up these fans to the motherboard and control them through the bios. Would that work? And if so, where in the chain would I have to plug in the adapter? I'm guessing the Input Molex, unplug it from the PSU and put it straight to the motherboard? Thanks for your time~

Electricity is electricity, it doesn't make any diference where it comes from.
Cut off the molex connectors and solder on fan connectors. Plug the fan connectors into the motherboard. There's usually only two connections that are speed controlled though, no matter how many total connections there are. But be careful as most motherboard fan headers will only supply about 2 watts.

I'd feel much better just using the adapter then cut/soldering. I just wanted to make sure that keeping all the fans connected together with their Molex connectors and putting the 3pin adapter on to the input wire would work. Sounds like it would, thanks

So I did this using the input molex-> adapter to 3 pin-> motherboard. The fans all got power, but they did not show up in bios or speedfan as recognized to control the speed. P35C, tryed plugging into both PWR_FAN and SYS_FAN. Also tryed singling out just one fan and controlling that, and also didnt work.
Stumped
