Default Fractal Design cases

I was browsing a hardware site (www.overclockers.co.uk) and I came upon (easy there) a new manufacturer of case, Fractal Design.

Their cases look awesome.

Sorta like a Lian Li. The only thing I don't like is the side panel, but a few minutes with a jigsaw could fix that.

Just thought I'd share it.

Here is the link to the case on overclockers.co.uk, by the way. You can get the case in a few other colours.

Here is the product page too, it has some more information/pictures on there.

I love its understated, minimalistic design, similar to the Antec Performance One series.

I'd love to put some LED fans (I know, blasphemy right?) in the front, and cut out part of the door and put in an acrylic panel, I think that'd be awesome.

Yup, ~£85, but that's the only hardware vendor I've seen them at.

I'd be willing to bet that you Americans will get them for about $100-$120, since you seem to get things a lot cheaper, all the time.

That actually looks pretty damn awesome. Those holes in the motherboard tray would make isntalling coolers much easier and it looks as thought there's intentions to route cables round the back of the case. AND, 8 HDD trays, which is awesome.

I don't need to be able to see inside the case, though, but god damn that looks nice. I'll have to see a video review of it and such, though.

You forgot this in the opening post:

Quote:
Stunning front panel design
- Patent pending ModuVent™ design - removable vents!
- Pre-fitted with dense, noise absorbing bitumen
- Motherboard try cut-out, allows easy access to rear of motherboard
- Eight white painted HDD-trays, with silicone mounting
- Can accommodate up to 7 120/140mm fans, two supplied
- PCI fan controller for 3 fans included
- Easily removable front fan filters with clip-on holders for 120mm fans

IF they actually come to America. I sure hope so, that case looks marvelous.

If this case was as good as it looks I'd open a small shipping directive on OCN for our American cousins. I'd charge cost and cost only.

Ha, I don't see that happening, though, it'll be in the States before it's here, I'll bet!
