I'm currently running the 800D and I've been happy with it overall but I do have a few problems.
1. I bought it with the intent of watercooling the CPU sometime in the near future. With some recent life-changes I'm not sure that I can divert that kind of money into my PC when I have a new home to furnish. I am afraid I'll be staying air-cooled for some time longer. 2. CPU temps are good but GPU (SLI Setup) temps are not good...at all. I have the rear fan flipped around to serve as an intake and I've added three 1200RPM SlipStreams to the roof for the record. If I run FurMark I can get both cards to 100% fan duty-cycle and the temps keep going 80* and beyond. Thankfully I was sitting there with my eyes peeled and was able to shut things down before something was damaged. 3. My new office/den/playime room is carpeted with heavy padding. The relatively narrow feet of the Obsidian dig in far enough where I can't fit my hand underneath. I could put it on a board or something but that's a little tacky. I've thought about setting it up on top of my desk but then I'd be wondering just how sturdy the Scandinavians really make those IKEA desks. Thoughts? I'm wondering if I'd be better off just ditching it for another HAF 932 or something. Sure it's not the best looking brute out there but it works and really that's all I care about at this point. I can get my hands on a 1200 but I really didn't like that case all that much.

The airflow for an aircooled case is really really lacking. If your looking to keep air, ditch the case.

Just keep the case. In case of the GPU Temperatures, their more likely gonna be affected by your ambient considering how big your case it. Unless your creating some wind effects inside of it, your temps should be fine.
P.S. You should add more exhaust fans than intake, as adding more intake fans will trap in more hot air.

idk, the case looks ugly in my eyes, all the ugly rubber grommets on the mobo panel may be nice for gable management, but take the whole point of eye candy out of the game... my vote goes to ditch

I'm a big fan of efficiency and getting what you need and nothing more. I personally have both full tower and mid tower cases. I have no intention of ever going water cooling as I do not see the benefit that warrant its cost.
With that being said, if you do intend on water cooling in the long run, then keep the case. Corsair has taken all good things from other parties and made them into one great case. However if you want something that best serve you in your environment atm, go with a midtower case that will offer better airflow, or lianli/alu case that will be easily modded in the future. In the end it all fits into what you need. In addition, with modern video card companies giving life time warranties, a lil higher than normal temps aren't something you should worry about. Know that if you do sell the case, you'd have to absorb the cost of being the first owner. If you still think its worth it, the cost of replacing it for another case that will bring gpu temp down 2-10 degrees at load, then go for it.

Could it be due to no airflow underneath the case? Attached is a pic from a review site modeling recommended airflow. Try and put something solid underneath, at least for testing purposes, and see what differences it makes.

I say sell it but are you willing to lose a good chunk of it off just shipping it and even craiglisting it will be hard since not many people buy expensive cases. Just sell it and buy a cheaper case.

You're right there but the fact that the GPU fans were no longer able to evacuate the heat at 100% concerns me.
Quote:
The top fans are exhaust. Before I moved the Obsidian sat on very low/thin carpet. So much so that it barely protruded beyond the Corsair's feet. That was when I recorded those temps. I don't have the balls to do it on the new thicker carpet.

Id say sell it if you can get a good price for it. I have wanted to get one of these but I saw the potential for poor airflow for the gpu's. Im tempted to say trade with me but im also going to run your exact sli setup so...
