I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this - but it's for the girly and she'll primarily be using it for music/school (still doesn't mean I won't be OC'ing it and other stuff).

Reason I ask though is the airflow on the evo - it seems to be much nicer compared to the lian li.

I ordered the cooler master v8 on newegg (39.99 - have two mugen 2's already - need a new look ). Pretty sure it'll fit in both cases

Case is usually personal preference, but have you considered the Antec 300?

Well the Lian Li does have more 2 more fans, another in the front and one in the rear.

Airflow is fine in my K7 and it's very quiet too. Everything's under 30C all the time except the graphics card ( it depends, if I game but if I just watch a movie or something it's alright )

lian li i'd say.
mainly becuase they have better build quality, and the case looks better to my eyes. It also has 2 more fans then the EVO.
so, i'd say Lian-Li in my opinion.
