Can you trust Cooler Master to honor MIR?

I want to get the HAF but only if I know they will honor the $35 MIR. Thanks In Advance.

To answer your question, no I would not trust them. Why? Because Coolermaster refused to replace two 230mm fans under warranty on my HAF after they just stopped working 6 months after I bought the case. I had proof of purchase date and everything. The customer service rep on the phone was rude and constantly put me on hold. I understand it's not a MIR, but the person representing the company made me not want to deal with them ever again.

Depends. If you write a really nasty review on Newegg, they'll cater to your every move.

You just gotta pester them for a while. When I bought my HAF 932 from their store, I had the front 230mm fan missing. I called them for about 2 weeks, and eventually got a guy on the phone that would hear me out. He was pretty nice, and offered to also give me two extra 230mm fans for the trouble they caused me.
CM is getting their customer service a bit better every year. Just try and work things out with them.
