Well, got my case today, after using some crappy case I got for free I decided to buy this case. So I bought it, threw my stuff in, followed the manual.

For a second I thought that it was something built in as a surprise when first starting the thing, but then half a second later, I saw a glow that wasn't red, but rather orange. A fire. A fire started on my motherboard for what reason I have no idea, but it burnt some parts, is it working? (Too scared to test) Anyone have this problem? What the hell should I do?

Motherboard is dead and gone for sure. RMA might be in order but i highly doubt that. Looks like it's time to get yourself a new mobo.

sounds like a motherboard standoff got installed in the wrong location causing a short on the back of the board.

motherboard might have shorted out on a misplaced standoff. Could having the front panel power button installed incorrectly cause fire????? Sorry for your loss.

umm first of all things take as many pics as you can and point out what happened so we can see.. im guessing your power supply is a peace of junk or you hooked something up wrong witch most lickley what happened what i would do is take everything out of your case and power everything up if nothing works see if your getting power from your psu if you are getting power try swapping out some parts swap the motherboard out and see if another motherboard works keep swamping stuff out untell you find out what part is bad
