I hope this is the right section.
So here is what i am trying to get solved... I have a movie (.xvid) which is about 700 MB big. I want to rip the movie to make it compatible with my iPod Video... So I tried ripping the xvid movie with Xilisoft Ipod Video Converter and it does rip just fine. But when I play the movie *on the ipod or computer* the audio is out of sync at the beginning it is hardly noticable but coming tords the end it will be like 3-4 seconds off... is this a known problem? How can I fix that? Maybe use a different ripper? any suggestions if so? btw this has happened on 3 different movies so it is not the file. (the orignal files are all fine) it only is off sync after ripping it

I dont know if this applies to IPods, but is the compression rate high or low? Sometimes it needs to be just in between to get it right.
