Default Your Thoughts On G5s

My girlfriend supprised me today by telling me that she had ordered me a G5 which should arrive 2morrow

So, could people please tell me what they think of the G5 and any cool features that they have that aren't mentioned in the spec

Thanks Guys

I love it.

The 2000DPI is great for tank turrets and such in BF2, which normaly move rather slowly, and 600DPI is awesoe for long range sniping. I'm sure you know that you can change DPI on the fly, even before drivers are installed.

If the G5 performs anything like my MX518, then it will be wicked.

Basically...you plug it in, and install the drivers...

SUPER EASY to set up.

The biggest the screen you have the more 2000DPI makes a difference....it's amazing with this 20", cause anything lower is actually a chore...

I have the G7 (wireless hot-swappable battery version) and I love it like woah. The different DPIs are great for different stuff. Personally with my small screen I like the middle setting.

I love mine. I love the weights, got mine heavy. So far I can say I will get one for my son and one for my wife. Maybe get the wife the G7 but my boy gets a G5 for sure. I am using 19" monitors atm so during normal task I stay at the center dpi setting but gaming
:FPS I am constantly swapping back and forth per weapon used.
:RPG/MMORPG I usally cling to the center setting.

I think its one of if not the best I have ever used to date
