Default Final Round for the BEST Gaming Mouse: Logitech MX518 vs Razor DeathAdder

I've narrowed down to the last two best gaming mouse and each comes from different side of the world:

Logitech MX518 and Razor DeathAdder

Now I need you to decide which one is the "king of all kings" (did I mentioned someone's name here.. )

Before you take your vote, please take the following considerations into account:

1. Most importantly, the overall build quality including its mouse feet

2. Performance level - Pixel by pixel pinpoint accuracy.

3. Warranty - The type of warranty offered (efficiency?) and the average customer service ratings for their RMA department.

That's all

RAZER FTW!

deathadder will definantly improve tyour game with its sleek look, but firm hardware both mice have exceptional grace on your mouse pad and the same level of DPI, but with the ability for on the fly dpi changes the death adder can add up in your gaming. Also with the onboard 32kb memory allows for advanced functional response times aswell as prioritized responses, clicks send b4 movement.

In essence if your turning in CS and you see some1 and give them a nice tink to the head with ur deagle it sends the click right away then follows through with the sweeping motion... allowing for a kill instead of a wasted bullet, i have always been a big fan of razer for their greatly crafted products and ease of use and setup, (dismind the habu, MS screwed it up) and suggest their products with my top regard always...

MX518>all (I've never had a Razor though!)

1. Build quality is excellent, usage is effortless with an acceptable surface. Wired is a must. Wireless mice for gaming = fail.

2. It is not a laser mouse, but come on, really. Adjustable on the fly sensitivity is great. Accuracy? No doubt. Playing BF2142 w/DuckiHo last night and went ~33 kills 4 deaths on the ground. (they were noobs for sure).

3. 3 year warranty completely honored. I spoke to a CSR last week regarding one of my MX518's that has a short in the wire and got the email today that the replacement was shipped. (Quite funny guy too, on the phone he says: "so you're in Indiana? ME: yes. CSR: Well after you cut the old mouse's cord at the entry point, take it outside and use it as a clay pigeon and shoot it."
The entire conversation lasted about five minutes and no haggling for warranty. Good company+.

MX518

Great construction, mine is working on year number 5.

Awesomely accurate.

Dunno about warranty, don't need it because it is built so well.

MX-518.

I love mine so much, maybe I'm biased here. Its relatively cheap, $35ish. My friends "broke" about a month ago. He called up Logitech and they said they would send him a new one. He was told by Logitech to cut his old mouse wire when he got the new one, yeah right.

Very well.

3x MX518 vs 1x DeathAdder here.

Looks like the DeathAdder is little out # here, but who knows, maybe DeathAdders fans are still out wondering somewhere..

How would you guys explain and respond to this source of info?
ESReality MouseScore 2007
http://www.esreality.com/?a=longpost&id=1300293&page=5

Apparently, DeathAdder is the new champion here, by far !!
Before it was added to this review database, there's no doubt about MX518 being the runner up and now it's 3rd in place which isn't too far behind the DeathAdder.

However, I personally would honor the Warranty + Build Quality side of view a little more and I think this is a point where Logitech MX518 takes the lead over Razor DeathAdder.

yep I am a deathadder fan...
My just ownz.
I have owned mx518, but I have notice that deathadders simpler shape is just better. Mx518 is just to luggy (kinda weird to describe).

I have tried both mice including many others, and I feel that deathadder pwns all even my good old mxie 3.0

There is no way to Truely decide which is a better mouse it's purely subjective. "put up a poll if you want to know so much"

I have the Razer Copperhead and it's preety solid mouse. I use it for BF2 and haven't had any problems.

Although what i would recommend is investing in a mouse pad. I have the Ratpadz GS it war our really fast so don't buy that one. It will GREATLY improve your mouseing habits.

Deathadder has better build quality than the MX518.
And I don't know about my warranty, but it hasn't broken so I am happy.
Well the tech support for razer is excellent.
