I have a Pioneer DVR112D. I just want to burn a cd. Nero has a selection tab where you select your recording hardware, but only lists an image recorder. It doesn't list any DVD drives. I looked for latest drivers, only found older versions than I already had. I did buy it OEM.

Pls check on this
1. When you click my Computer the drive should be labeled with DVD-RW or CD-RW, Are you sure it's a burner?
2. Did you usually burn or First time?
3. Nero Version?

Nero is has a stable version.. Use v.7.10.1.0

Did you install the actual burning software (InCD)? You can install all the Nero application software that you want, but if you don't install the actual burning software, InCD, your PC won't recognize it as a burner (or maybe at all).

If you obtained Nero, then you should have also obtained the InCD software with it.

try rebooting.....That solved most of my problems (with my last computer) with Nero not recognizing the dvd drive and only seeing an image recorder.
