Default Logitech

Just wanted to post a major kudos towards Logitech here. Let me explain why

Problem 1) I had an MX Deluxe wireless combo mouse and keyboard (Great set btw) with x64. None of the functions of the keyboard would work. I called their tech support and we tried to get them to work and concluded that there just wasn't going to be any x64 support and we couldn't get to work. As a reprise they offered me 30 dollars off on my next keyboard and showed me several options that were decent keyboards as well as sending me an MX510 completely free. I was pretty upset that this $100 keyboard/mouse bundle I just bought wouldn't work anymore but meh, I got a free mouse and a better wired keyboard for a great deal while still keeping the old one.

Problem 2) My MX 1000's charging base has become mis shapen across the year and a half I've owned it and it's very hard to get it to charge adn stay charging without phyiscall holding it there. I found out yesterday that the mouse was still under warranty. I called them and explained the problem and they took my information and I sent them a copy of my newegg invoice. I now have a brand new Mx Revolution on the way to me completely free because they discontinued the 1000 while still being able to keep the 1000.

My thoughts) Logitech's support and products are still top notch in my opinion. If you look on my desk, you won't find anything that doesn't say logitech other then my monitor. My 5.1 Speakers, g15 Gaming keyboard, mouse, usb controller, and webcam all proudly bare a Logitech logo. Their company produces FANTASTIC products with GREAT support and warranty service. I'd highly reccomend Logitech periphials over the other's I've tried. Their brand is worth the extra 5 bucks.

I'm glad you've had such a good experience with them. Its rare to get that kind of service from a company these days.

I've never personally had to deal with Logitech support, but it's good to hear their support is so good.

Since their components are so cheap to produce, Logitech generally will just send you a new product when you RMA. They don't even ask for the old one back.

To answer most of your questions: (1) a fridge cannot cool a PC (2) 64-bit OS for over 3.4GB (3) If a PCIe card fits, it will work (4) Resolution, not screen size (5) If you have a question, it is not news (6) Report, not respond to Spam (7) Single/Non-Modular Rail PSUs are NOT better than Multi-Rail/Modular

I just bought the MX-620 Wireless Laser Mouse. It's ok. I actually like Microsoft's peripherals a little better (blasphemy I know), but decided to give Logitech a try since I like their keyboards. Good to know that if this breaks they'll probably send me a new one.
