Default Recommendations for a Keyboard

I'm suffering from a dilema. I bought the Logitech G11 because it was a gamer's keyboard that had macro keys, backlighting, and looked like a normal keyboard. I thought that because it was a gaming keyboard that it didn't have that limitation to being only able to press 3 keys at the same time. I was wrong.

So my question, can anyone recommend a keyboard that doesn't suffer from this stupid manufacturer enabled bs that will recognized more than 3 keys being pressed simultaneously. I would like to have one with backlighting and macro keys but if backlighting isn't available, I can do the mod myself and just need the macro keys.

Saitek Eclipse is good. Look at DeCK keyboards, though. The best in the world.

I've never heard of DeCK. I will do some research. Thanks for the responses.

Edit: Okay just looked at the deck website and I'll take my friends out for some hookers and some ice cream before I ever in my life pay $159 for a keyboard.

Here's the DeCK Keyboard with Red LEDs. Ya, it's pricey, but so are Lian Li cases, PC Power and Cooling PSUs, and other quality components. http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...oducts_id=3843

i know razer lycosa offers like gaming cluster anti ghosting thing which you can press like 5 button at once with ctrl, shift, and alt.

but why would you press more than three... i read a review of it somewhere that unless you want to crouch, move forward backward and left at the same time (which is not possible by the way) it's uselss

Because it's hard as hell to run diagonally, get a specific gun using the number keys, jump and crouch when you hear "Beep" everything you don't let go of one key in time to press another.

I know you can scroll to get to the different weapons but I can either scroll through all the weapons, or press 1 button.

I know the Lycosa has that as well as the Tarantula. I just don't like the Tarantula's layout and the Lycosa doesn't have macro keys but I figured if I had to settle, I can get a Lycosa and call it a day.

I have actually run into an issue with that. I tried to crouch jump forward / left while talking on the Mic (had to hit a button to activate the mic) and my guy just stopped moving and I died.

So, it's actually a plausible issue.
