I'm using the wireless adapter included with my motherboard, and in the last couple of days it's having issues connecting to networks and keeping those connections alive. Unfortunately today it stopped connecting entirely.
I believe it's based on the Realtek 8187 chipset. Does anybody know what might be causing this?

It's the Wifi/AP module on my Asus motherboard; I guess it's internal USB. Right now it can connect to any network in the area, but at random occasions I'll lose access to any devices on the network as well as internet, but I can still find other networks without any problem. It seems to happen for about ten minutes at a time, and about half of the time requires a restart.
