Default Friends problem - DVD-RW
Hey guys,

My friend is having a problem and I've got nothing.......I'm stumped!

My DVD-RW has stopped working in Vista, It's detected in BIO's, It's shows in Device manager(but it shows driver error)

This error shows -

When I try to update the drivers, it says it is using the best one, even thought it doesn't work :S

I tried to download drivers for the drive but drivers for DVD drives don't exist, only firmware

So.......Any ideas?

Sometimes it workes by removing the driver for it and then serching for drivers.

How old is the drive ? Is it possible it is just broken, swap it out with another or try it in yours
