What happened to the beige CD/DVD drives? I can't find any.
Help me find one.

SATA, but if only IDE, I'll survive.

Yeah my Lite-On IDE drive came with a black faceplate on it, but there was a beige one in the box also.

You could always paint the cover beige. I don't think they make SATA beige optical drives.

edit: Nevermind. I found a few and yeah there are plenty of manufacturers that include interchangeable faceplates, but mostly on retail versions.

I forgot the one that I usd in my system came with a beige faceplate.

This drive is SATA, fast ,and can be beige!
