Default OCZ Dominatrix Pics and mini-Review

Ordered on Sunday from Amazon and arrived today! First the pics:

The mouse wheel changes colors based on what DPI you're at, which is nifty.

It feels very well built and sturdy, especially when the added weights are in place, and even more so for $35. It's more comfortable to me than the Copperhead, and I have relatively large hands. I really only have the Copperhead to compare it to, and right off the bat the Domi wins with the button layout and comfortability; it just feels more natural in my hand. And the 4-Way mouse scrolling and 7 buttons are nice. I haven't played any games with it yet, but I'm sure it'll perform swimmingly.

However, when I first started using it, I thought I had a bum mouse on my hands. The cursor refused to move smoothly, even with the drivers installed; but after I flipped my Razr eXactMat over to the smooth side, it started tracking like butter. So my first initial con for this mouse is that it seems picky on what surface it's on.

The mouse drivers DO work on Vista 64 Bit, as I had no trouble installing them from the OCZ website. It's not the flashiest program in the world, but it's easy enough.

Overall, I'd recommend giving this mouse a shot, especially at $35 bucks.

Seems like a solid mouse at that price point. It should also be noted that everyone has different hands, and one mouse might feel great to one person but another may hate it. For those of you in the market for a gaming grade mouse you can also check out the review in my sig.
