I have owned a 80GB Zune and I currently own a 32GB Ipod Touch and in my opinion, the Touch wins in EVERY area over the Zune except storage. You get awesome apps (I have this one that can remotely control your computer ), games (much better than the ones available for the Zune), including all the classics. ie: Sim City, Bejeweled, Tetris... The interface looks fantastic compared to the Zune's, nicer screen, it has the cool touch effects of course, not to mention, higher res, much nicer for movies. Safari is awesome of course, browsing the web pretty much anywhere, and it actually works quite well (sites are easy to read and the browser isn't unstable, like I thought it would be). Plus there is the mail, weather apps that are pretty awesome. Its just SOOOO much better than the Zune because its basically like a mobile computer . The storage capcity is the only downside, but it really isn't that big of an issue, I just put all the music that I'm into at the moment (no real need to keep your whole damn collection on the device ) on it, plus a slew of TV shows and movies that I swap out every once in a while when I get bored of the ones on it. Just get the Ipod Touch .

The wifi on the ipod touch is a hit or miss type of feature... some find it extremely easy to use, others find a PITA...

And as others have said, it drains the battery life extremely quickly, and ipod touches are known to have poor to mid grade battery life at best

Get a 120GB iPod Classic, it gets the job done. The iPod Touch is pointless if you have more than 32GB of music.

just talked to my friend and he wants $150 which is cheaper than whats on craigslist for a 8GB itouch but i could get a 80GB zune for that price.
