I thin that it worked at first, what happened I don`t know, at first I thought it broke two discs, it happens, but after I month my burning session always fail!
I`ve updated DVD-drivers, and installed nero 9.2.6.0... here is error report from tonight, I got error in lead out(what is strange I can play 4 of 6 movie files written on the DVD-R ): Quote:

Are you trying to add files to a pre burned DVD? (Known as a multisession burn) If so then disk could have gone bad. They do that all to often especially if your using poor quality media.

no no, new, empty DVD-R Verbatim...
I also saw that it happens even if I lower the writing speed... Another thing is that if I try to burn smaller files, like two word documents on CD-R, it succesfully burn them... o.O, little time for mistake to happen I guess

Have you tried reinstalling Nero just incase it's become corrupt somehow, it's worth a try.
Also If your drive is new and the Nero software and Verbatim media is ok, perhpas consider RMA'ing it? If the drive is out of warranty or you don't mind flashing it's inbuilt software (Firmware)perhaps consider flashing it as I notice there is a new firmware released for the Pioneer DVR-215D.

Do you have any other media you could try, preferably something like Ritek disks with the G04 or G05 dye layer, Taiyo Yuden etc? Just to see if it's a media issue as you can get bad batches sometimes.

I've never tried that software before however there's no problem in giving it a try.
If you've used various versions of Nero its also possible to have a damged or left over file on your system which could be causing problems. If you like nero use the tool (below) to get rid of any corrupt files and reinstall version 9.0.9.4d as I find this the best version up to now. http://www.nero.com/eng/tools-utilities.html#tab4

well I used that nero washer before installing the latest version...it is possible that there are some leftovers in registry though...
Now some good news, with Ashampoo I succesfully burned video file 650mb on CD-r with 10x speed...I will now try data DVD-r burning..
