Default MX 518 setpoint help

when wow starts up, is there a way to set it so my mouse 4 button does alt+p?

but when i go back to windows it goes back to previous page button?

I haven't found a way to program that buttons. I think it just works for some games and others it doesn't. None of them work in TF2. Just edit the settings in-game. Don't pay attention to Setpoint (That program isn't going to understand what it means to "Set button 8 to Super crazy awesome spell).

no, im trying to get it to bind alt+p while wow.exe is running. not the spell itself.

you shouldn't use Setpoint with the MX518



* As a result, it is considerd that there is data saturation inside the mouse itself and not as a result of USB data transfer.
* So, you should use MX518 without Setpoint and set the mouse CPI to a low figure, to avoid clipping/data saturation.

nope, it asks for a key binding, so i need to do it this way.

you can set them manually by using /cast, /equip, /use [button:1-5] or use one of the several addons for WoW like clique and you won't have to sacrifice any performance of your mouse by using Setpoint.
