Ive got a pluscom FNML5V303 webcam, it works fine in vista 64 and below, there are no drivers for windows 7 and I dont think they will produce any, ive tried the vista driver and it doesnt work, ive tried setting the installer to vista mode and that too doesnt work, also tried windows update to search for a driver and thats a no-go. I just dont really want to have to buy another, is there anything else I could possibly try?.

Sorry, pluscom FNML5 V303 . You will proberly find there crappy forum(supposed "support") lol! that hasnt had a post since early 2009 lol, thats why I said I dont think a new driver is ever going to be made

Try the windows XP driver and run it in compatability mode for XP SP3 as Admin

Same boat here, but mine's an old VEO webcam--good image quality though. I tried everything but it just wouldn't work.

Try XP compatibility..?

Not yet, it uses an installer!, how could I extract the driver or find it?.

Yea i have windows 7 and tried a driver for a smililar webcam for Vista and didnt work and I tried XP Driver and ran compatability mode like I said above and that was the fix
