Default Good set of cans for gaming/music

I need a good set of cans for gaming or music but no more then the 60 - 70 USD price range.

Save your money a little longer and get the HD555's. You would me much happier with them. I have seen them get down to like $95 on various sites, check amazon a lot.

Try getting some ATH-AD700s, they have amazing soundstage, which is important for games.

They can be had for around $84, for reference.

What about these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826402026 they have the same frequency response as the Seinheiser 555's but with lower ohms. Only bad thing about them is the paint job

and I listen to metal...

If you like metal, I'd stay away from the HD555s as it is...
I have them, they're not particularly bad for metal but there's a lot of work to be done in the loud and heavy department. Particularly the bass. Where's the bass on these cans? O_o
