This is an odd question, but i have a USB headset, and its relatively nice quality. i want to know if its possible to make an adapter from the USB to a 3.5mm so i can use it with ipods and what not. i figure i could make it out of a usb extension wire such as the one that came with my mouse and any headphone 3.5mm jack. Is this possible?

Senn makes a cable that does the opposite to that, so it is possible.
I'm not sure how you would go about making it yourself though. Possible you could buy that cable and reverse it yourself.

Because if there wasn't anything to that cable you could theoretically chop up a USB and 3.5... get the pins right and solder it yourself.
