Default Need a backlit keyboard

I like my current key board but the "s" key is sticky and the shift key is messed up from my son. Im looking for an affordable replacement. So far im liking the G11.

Current keyboard is a Firefly Borealis.

The G11 is a great keyboard (had one myself before going G15), but if you're looking for a cheaper keyboard-only solution, try the Saitek Eclipse?

Saitek Eclipse II/III? Or Logitech do an illuminated keyboard, IIRC... no idea about US pricing.

G15 I like mine a lot, I used to have a razer keyboard the quality of those keyboards wasnt so good as the G15. The buttons faded fairly quickly with the razer.

I use the Saitek Eclipse. It's nothing fancy, but it works well. I've had mine for nearly 2 years now.

I picked up a Logitech G11 for $30 a few weeks ago when Fry's had it on sale. It's perfect for me. It's got blue backlight and its a gaming keyboard. The new G110 is coming out hence the cheap sale price on the g11.

Everyone has different needs and wants in this world given their god given right of free will.

-----------
Saitek Eclipse would be cool, but the keys lettering would fade out over time.
There's the G11 which is good, but its pretty long and has lots of macros keys.
There's the G15 which is great.

I thought the same before I bought a back-lit keyboard. It's actually extremely useful, especially for those of us who stay up late "working".

OP: I have the Logitech Illuminated Keyboard. It's very sleek and thin, love it alot. Some say if you type extremely fast you may have problems with key blocking, but I have had no problems and I type around 100WPM. Gaming is fine, no problems for me. Cost me $30 after MIR. Not too flashy, but very sleek.

Honestly, for me, it just looks cool (that and it came standard with my G15's LCD!).

I really don't look down at my keyboard much, so I honestly don't notice the backlighting in day-to-day use. However, at LAN parties, this keyboard is one sick looking ************!
