Default MM3's Review: [$80 USD] Logitech G13

So I got home from Best Buy a while ago with my new, $80 Logitech G13.

My thoughts? It's a nice machine I gotta admit. But to be honest, it's really not worth the $80 I paid for it. I'd say maybe $45-$50 tops.

Anyway, the LCD screen is nice. I just wish I could do more with it. Really the only things remotely useful is the CPU/RAM monitor, Xfire integration, and WinAmp Now-Playing functionality.

Getting it configured to my liking in CoD4 and CoD:WaW was... sketchy. After about an hour I got all the buttons mapped to where I want them, now it's just waiting for my hand to adjust to the changes.

I found myself using most of the keys, all but the upper key by the joystick, and the joystick itself.

Final Thoughts? If Best Buy didn't have a 15% restocking fee, I'd return this and just get a G15. It's a nice device, but for the price it's at you're better off just getting a G15, or save a bit more for a G19.

I was actually looking at that one. It's also at Best Buy but didn't see a price tag.

I don't think the restocking fee applies to my gamepad, so I think I might return it and either get a G15 or something else. What's the retail price for that thing anywho?

I should try one of those Belkin units.
My brother works at best buy.... Anything Belkin pretty much always has a 500%-1000% mark up. So it should be easily in the $10 range.

I call word on that.

I'll definitely be going for a G15. The G13 again is a nice unit, just really not worth its price.

Best Buy does not have a restocking fee for these things, I believe
