I have friends who are really happy with their Deathadder and others who are smitten with their Diamondback... And there is the Lachesis too...
I'm leaning towards the Deathadder because the Diamondback is ambidextrous... I'm also considering a Lycosa keyboard, any thing else that I should look at? (I want it to glow blue as a secondary consideration, to match my color scheme)

So, you don't want a Logitech mouse at all?

I've only used the Mamba and DeathAdder, assuming the mamba is out of your price range, the deathadder is still probably the best Razer mouse you'll get

Consider the Razer Tarantula for keyboards. Not many people have it due to a high price tag but boy I've never used a more comfortable keyboard for gaming. I would actually also use it at work as typing on it is extremely fast!
__________________I based my buying decision on the built and feel of the keys rather than say macro keys or LED display of the Logitech keyboards -- reason being is I play mostly FPS, only MMO I still rock is Ultima Online but I've had the same macros since '97 and can not consciously switch them to real macro buttons). The Tarantula just felt the best out of all the keyboards they had at Best Buy -- my recommendation is to go there (or a similar retailed) as they actually do carry a lot of gaming peripherals in the store for you to try out there and then buy based on what feels good. I believe the majority of gaming periph drivers are now pretty much standardized (on the fly dpi/sensitivity switching, profile switching, etc). What it comes down to should be the FEEL as no ones palm/hand is the same!

Would the Steelseries 7G be a good choice?
