my mouse is flat out crap. been playing f.e.a.r combat and now i see why people buy gaming mouses.it will work for a good 5 mins then lose signal for a second or two. i eventually have to give it a quick drop on the table to get it to work. anyways im need a few recommendations for a cheap gaming mouse. perferably a wireless one. im looking to spend $30. if this isnt really possible for the amount im willing to spend on a mouse then i can settle for one with a chord.

look at the MS sidewinder x5 the one with the cord and silver buttons, has 2000dpi and on the fly switchable, the buttons are really nicely set out and easily accessible without difficulty, has changeable mouse feet for different smoothness or w.e and custom weights for your perfferance. But it has a cord and its pretty big in your hands so if u have small hands i wouldnt recommend it. but otherwise yes its a great gaming mouse. but there are other ones out there with a larger dpi but i use this so yeah ive had no problems with it and recommend it a lot.

wireless is not good for gaming AT ALL
go with Logitech G5 , logitech MX518 (both can be had for 25-30 on ebay)

My recommendation is a Razer Deathadder hands down. It has a great feel to it (based on the tried and true Intellimouse 3.0 design), has great build quality (2+ years and everything feels like new) and a top notch sensor ("only" 1800DPI, but the sensor is one of the best, if not the best out there. There's no negative acceleration and tracking prediction can be turned of via a firmware flash).
__________________It's in between a small and a big mouse. Not chunky like some of the Logitech stuff, but certainly not an uncomfortable hocked puck like some of the Razer mice. It can be palmed or held with a "claw". Great mouse.
