X5 has 2000 dpi and Deathadder has 1800. Fo rgaming X5 is slightly better. I've never been a fan of Razer products but it's all about comfort. find a store that has both and test drive them for your final decision

This is a bit biased.

Its all about what you like. Everyone is different.

I can vouch for the deathadder. Its a great mouse, and does what its supposed to do as good as anything else.

I got a G5 and Deathadder, and the extra 200 DPI is pointless.

I am not going to suggest going with one or the other because I do not have enough experience with both but i just wanted to mention they now have the new deathadder which is the same mouse but with a 3500 dpi laser.

I have both. But I luuuv my deathadder. The Sidewinder is just to bulky for my liking. Although, I am more then a little curious about Cooler Masters new mouse. 5600 dpi. It's the most advanced gaming mouse on the market.

Fixed.

I say the death adder, it glides so smooth and fits my hand really well. The two buttons are also a good feature for vent chat, re buying guns, and auto-running.
