either steelseries 5hv2 usb that costs 100 dollars or razer barracuda that costs 130 dollars
i'd with the steelseries cuz of the usb sound card that makes it 7.1 ch

You'd get better answers from the sound section.

Don't get any headphones advertised as "Gaming" or something. And don't get 5.1 headphones. Blatant marketing gimmick.

Get AD-700's with a Zalman Clip on mike. They're very comfortable, and have a massive soundstage. Perfect gaming headphones.

I highly recommend the G35 for Gaming. It makes a big difference in the games that support surround sound!

yeah, after people pay retail, they realize "damn, this wasnt worth $130" and they get sold used for garbage prices, and smaller retailers sell them so cheap just to get rid of them.

I recommend anything by Audio technica. In your case, the AD-A700, should work very well.

All those "5.1" or "Surround" sound headphones are gimmicks. Headphones with good soundstages are far better. You can tell where the enemies are better, and they sound better.
