Default Anyone tried the SteelSeries 1-2 EXPERIENCE?

I used it with my G5 and it's a complete failure.
It doesn't keep up with the movements when I have 2000dpi and low sense on games.

http://www.steelseries.com/us/produc...specifications

- Material: Glass

- Surface treatment: Trade secret

- Dimensions: 10" x 12"

- Size: Medium

- Glide: Smooth

- Compatibility: Optical, ball

G5 = Laser.

This might be your problem since it was released in 2001. At that time i think most people were using optical, i dont think laser mice were available 8 years ago when this was designed and released.

SteelSeries Experience I-1 and I-2 used to be called the Icemat and Icemat SE respectively and they have been around since 2000. it's a frosted translucent glass and is pretty durable the only issue with it is condensation. the sensor in the G5 doesn't like it. laser sensors came on the market in 2004.
