Default Razer Mamba + what mouse pad?

Going to get a Mamba as I've had enough of my G9. Currently using a fUnc 1030 mouse pad but it is a bit worn and its also a bit on the small side. Recommend a mouse pad for the Mamba?

Any random pad will not suffice.

There's a big difference between any random mouse pad and a decent-quality mouse pad. obviosuly we're not asking you to blow 50$+ on a mouse pad, but even a 10$ investment is good.

I'm using the Steelseries QCK mousepad; i got three of these for free when i ordered my PC parts and they are great for its price. your mamba will glide across it freely, theres no resistance from the mouse pad itself, and it's very inexpensive. that being said, the edges will eventually fray and the surface will get bubble-like damage near the edges, but that happened with 6 months of heavy abuse for me. I'm on my second pad right now.

I'm pretty sure they run for about 10$ or so.

Isn't the QCK a cloth pad? Would be a bit worried about it wearing out quickly. Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't have a preference as to cloth or hard plastic though.

There's a new Razer one out, the Megasoma. $50 is steep for me but it looks like it's an awesome pad, and if you just spend $130 on a mouse, $50 on the pad shouldn't be too outrageous:

Funny you say that, I replace my Logitech G9 with the Razer Mamba also

Only function I really miss from the G9 is hyperscroll.

But anyways, the mamba is a good mouse and it'll work on any surface that I've used. atm though, I'm just using a big xtrac ripper mousepad
