Default gah this is getting annoying fast

after i burn a cd-r my drive wont eject
my old drive lasted me for a good 3 yrs and it started doing the same thing
and eventually died now my hp one is is starting to do the same crap
what is causing this?

edit: i just got the hp about 3 weeks ago
and it was $40 at best buy =/

i had a drive that did that after about 5 years, it was a no namer drive though.

CALL GEEK SQUAD!!!!!!

i have no idea why its doing that
