Ok, well my foam peice got ripped at the end and my friend in all his genius decided to pull it down the mic's shaft thingy o my headset. Well it wont stay back on right anymore, and ive had to talk louder/put it up to my mouth closer for people to hear me, so does that foam thing have anything to do with it?

To the best of my knowledge, al that foam does is block moving air from the sensor (IE. breathing into the mic). It's supposed to cancel that out.
