Default MX518 cursor moving upwards!!

Hey guys,

I've had a Logitech MX518 for acouple of moths now and i love it, however recently the cursor has been slowly moving upwards. It only moves a really small amount probally about 1/2 cm every second, but this is really annoying me, especially sniping in BF2.

I've seen a section onf the logitech support site about this problem happening with other models and then have an updated driver for these models, so i have emailed logitech to see if this driver can work for me, but i wanted to know why this is happening and if there is anythign i can do to stop it.

A mate of mine was saying something about the laser being reflected? I have tried the mouse on my desk and a mousemat and the porblem still occurs. Also i have tested it in USB and in PS/2 and the problem still happens. PLease help!,

Cheers, Dan

i would just try to uninstall the drivers and do a fresh install of them.

If that doesnt work, maybe get blow some air into the laser and see if there is something stuck up there.
