I am assuming you have tried using the cleaning cycles yes?
What model brother is it? Depending on the model you need to take apart the print head and soak it in a cleaning solution. If its an intergrated print head then you might be better off buying a new printer depending on what you need to replace.

My inkjet has a 'purge' option. Just makes it print lots of band of dark strong colours, to clean the heads on the cartridges.
# My printer has the heads integrated into the cartridges so yay ![]()

You could buy a new print head cartridge. It will cost you some, but it will be squeaky clean :P.

Yes, as Snip said, you can try printing a lot to flush the print heads...
After I have done some research and according to Brotheryou have the ink cartridges that have intergrated print heads in them. Best thing to do is try flush if that does not work then get new ones. There is no intergrated print head in this particular printer. Good for you ![]()
