I take no credit for this, but Dryadsoul posted this in another thread.

I personally have the Herman Miller Aeron and it is an amazing chair. I know it is a bit out of your price range, but if you are content with it, I believe there are a few on ebay for 400 dollars. With the 14% cashback you are paying around 350 if you are lucky.

go to an ulpholstery shop and have yours re-worked. they have all kinds of foams and padding that will stand up to heavy use. plus they can shape it the way you want it too

I don't mean to topic steal, but I'm currently saving up for a Herman Miller Aeron chair too,
where did u buy urs? eBay? is there such thing as a fake Herman Miller chair? just wondering. Because if the ones in eBay are fake, i might as well buy it from a actual legitiment website.

and as for the main topic person, iono, if ur budget is under 300 dollars, and u spend alot of money going through each chair, lets say like 300 dollar a chair and u keep going from another to another, maybe u should save up for a Herman Miller

I myself am not sure about the comfort of the chair yet, but hell, i love it just by looking at the pictures and so far I've read good reviews about it.

I just have to wait to buy one myself and see for myself

Yeah, I'm seriously considering making my pillows last a while longer to save up for the Herman Miller Aeron, heh.

I ordered mine from an authorized dealer. I believe that there might not be fake Herman Millers meaning the ones with all the features etc, however I have see ads for people fixing them and reselling.

Before I purchased my chair tho, I checked craigslist and even went to meet a few people. The chairs were all authentic from when I checked it out, however none of them had the fully loaded model.

In reference to the cashback, you can go to live.com and type in Wii. It will prompt an ebay link where you get 15% cashback for anything you buy with the Buy it Now option.

really depends on your area and what you ask for. i have seen motorcycle seats reshaped/recovered for 50 but havent had any experience with a computer chair. oh, my wife also had the seat pad of a rocking chair redone for under 100, but it wasnt anything special, just standard foam and cloth.
i know they offer other stuff though

i would try calling around to reulphostery shops to see what they have to offer.

good luck
