Default Desk Decision, Gimme Your Opinion Quick!

First off, apologies for the poor images, but it's all I could come up with.

Here's my dilemma..I really want an L shaped desk, mainly so I can have computer and fun stuff on one side, and study materials on the other (can't stay away from studying too long...or is it I can't stay away from my computer too long?)

Anyways, I had my heart set on this desk after seeing how fantastic it looked in JustMarioBros room.

http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...t/IMG_1637.jpg

However that's going to set me back $200.

I hopped on craigslist today and found this next one for $40

I feel like the $160 saved would be incredible, and it's a whole new hard drive or the Torture Rack I've been looking for....any thoughts? Does one clearly look better than the other (i.e. $160 better)?

The clear one looks a million times better. I would never go back to wood after going to a desk like that.

I'd rather save the $40 and continue to use what I have rather than buying that ugly desk.

If ya do it, get the glass one, however, check this out, 90 dollars, looks great. It's very sturdy, running a 24 inch samsung, 2 19 inch acers, my rig, and my reciever/cablebox/dvr/printer stack. Havent had an issue with it yet.

I wouldn't go with glass, simply because it'd smudge/get dirty every time you touched it. That'd get annoying real fast (at least for me). I'd rather have a desk that just works, and looks the same regardless of whether I clean it or not.
