I'm guessing it's like 30'C in my room, I'm just sitting on my chair and I'm sweating.

I want to get AC but it's too expensive. I can't open the window wide in the afternoon because the sun is facing my windows and it will get even more hot.

well you could get a fan for your roof, or a small Air con

i have both, even an air conditioner vent was added to my room

but it's winter now so it's cold, and thus i have a heater lol

and yes i watch my PCs temps, and they are still in safe ranges with the heater on

What kind of humidity do you have? If it's not too high, an evaporative cooler (swamp cooler) might be a good inexpensive option

Try turning on the ceiling fan (if you have one) it should cool off you room.

No I don't have a ceiling fan, the only fan I have is a small desk fan that's loud and 30 years old.

And I don't know the humidity of my room.

What about those coolers where you pour in cold water it blows cold air? Are those worth getting?

I suggest getting a large fan, the kind with a stand that people use in offices (can't remember what they are called) as an intake fan by your door, then have a large ~2' fan by the open window as an exhaust. Possibly 2 intake fans and 1 ceiling fan just to keep the air moving. You should then hook them up to this which would allow you to control the speed of the fans. Maybe later down the road you could get water cooled fans to make your room even cooler. :P

yea i have one of them, only downside is you have to keep refilling it like once a day or something, depends on how much water they hold, and they can leak out water if your not careful so make sure not to move em around
