I am looking for a job as many people are and I was wondering if I could send my res/cov letter vis PC Fax using my Comcast High Speed Internet connection? Are there any special (FREE) Applications that I would have to install to do this or does XP Pro X64 come w/a built in Fax application?

Thank you, Correct me if I'm wrong but this is a paid service and per fax in/out-going. ATM I am using my telephone fax machine but I'm trying to keep my ars planted in my lazy boy to give me more time looking for work and not have to get up every time to go to my fax to send a fax to possible employers. It's hard on my ankle to get up and down all day long.

Or fill one out on like monster.com and link it for them?

That is the way it's usually done.

I don't think there is any free fax service like there used to be free phone service, but if you can find a free phone service then you should be able to fax over it.

Some of the jobs that I come accross online request that you fax your resume. Prolly a low tech company that don't want to risk viruses through email MS word attatched documents. IDK but I'm just trying to figure it out. RonindeBeatrice responded w/efax and I have signed up for a broadcast fax membership w/500 free in/out-going faxes but I have not received the email confirmation from them to initialize the account.
