I would try local office stores for returns. I would not buy any office furniture on line, as you usually want to go to the store, sit at it, and make sure it fits your working habits.

Herman Miller furniture lasts forever, but its rather expensive. Theres a store in Portland if you're interested.

Workstation as in desk/furniture?

www.Neweggmall.com has some decent stuff although it might be a little pricey.

If by workstation you mean desktop computer, and you do not have the expertise to physically create your own build, then I recommend www.ibuypower.com. They will build your new system at a price that is hard to beat - up to 30%+ off of other online stores that perform builds. I am a satisfied customer. Best of luck all the same!

If you feel like playing with dowels, screws and allen keys, then I say you should take a look at these from Ikea.
