Question Ikea JONAS desk

(Link to desk) Does anyone have this desk? If so, could you take some pictures of inside the drawer and cupboard for me please? I would greatly appreciate it.

Oh, and does anyone have it and have their computer tower on the top of it (over the drawer and cupboard)?

Thanks .

I can tell you that I have quite a bit of Ikea stuff, and even the 20 dollar tables are strong enough to hold me. I think you'll be good holding any PC.

My first reaction was you could stain that and it would look awesome but then I realized its laminated particle board.

It should be fine. Unless you want to do Irish river dances on it.

I stopped buying stuff from Ikea a while back. I outfitted my daughter's playroom with shelving, a desk, and all kind of stuff becasue it was cheap.

It looks great until you try to use it. Then when it breaks you realize it is all a bunch of cheap junk. You are better off going to Wal-Mart and getting yourself something by Sauder or Bush. They are inexpensive and made from particle board too, but it is heavyweight stuff and will withstand years of abuse.

I know you are not in Canada, but the furniture at Zeller's I find to be really SOLID. I have a few items and nothing is loose, they are cheap, heavy and built like a tank.

Just to give you an idea, I got this desk and hutch for only about $150 at Wal-mart, and it is way better made than anything I've seen at Ikea. They also have cheaper stuff that looks damn near as good. Plenty of drawers and space too.

And while I'm showing off, I might as well show you my 42" LG 1080p that I can game on if I like.

Sorry about the delay in replying. I have no idea where else to go in the UK for a nice computer desk. Anyone have any ideas?
