I didn't even realize it would be so kick-butt for surround setup until later in the design phase.
also. 5.1 is completely unnecessary. 4.1 does the trick fantastically so long as spacing between the front left and right speakers is the same between speakers and listener. It's called stereo imaging. The two sound fields combine to appear as though the sound is coming from the center. A center channel is only needed when in a situation where there are multiple listeners at different locations. It's meant to focus the audience to the screen. And as such, is not needed in such a close listening environment. Anybody can have a clean setup so long as they put some effort into it. I spent at least two hours sleeving and routing wires.

Fingerprints removed. Organized all of my extra computer parts and modding tools. Ba-Dap-dop-dat-daaa, I'm lovin' it. **sorry for the picture quality, Auto Focus is lame and I couldn't find my tripod so I resorted to using a flash in alot of pictures. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Very nice. I like it. Very clean and modern. I wish I had that desk. What is that coil behind your tower? I need one of those.

It's called an Energy Chain. They're used on industrial machines and such to keep wires tidy on moving parts. I have it so when I pull my tower forward, I don't have to disconnect anything or worry about putting addition stress on wires. it keeps everything at a consistent length.

You sleeved your speaker wire! Killer desk, looks gorgeous, and the cable routing is perfect.
